02 May IPERA Guest Wi-Fi compatible with EU GDPR Data Protection
IPERA is one of the first cloud-based Guest Wi-Fi platforms compatible with European Union Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply from 25 May 2018, when it supersedes all EU member states’ current national data protection laws. Significant and wide-reaching in scope, the Regulation brings a 21st-century approach to data protection. It expands the rights of individuals to control how their personal information is collected and processed, and places a range of obligations on organisations to be more accountable for data protection.
Thanks to the flexible and secure cloud architecture that IPERA utilizes, we are proud to announce that IPERA Guest Wi-Fi, Analytics and Marketing platform is now General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant providing complete transparency when holding the personal data that is collected from Guest Wi-Fi platform.
GDPR outlines that individuals have a “right of access” to the information a company holds on them. Organizations holding their information must provide options to allow individuals to access and control their profile information as well as communication
Here is how IPERA achieves the data privacy protection rules and regulations.
